We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the applicable data protection regulations and this privacy policy.

Personal data is any information that can be used to identify you personally (e.g. name, address, email address, IP address).

Data processing is carried out only to the extent necessary to provide a functional website as well as our content and services.

3. Collection and Storage of Personal Data

a) When visiting the website

When you access our website, information is automatically sent by your browser to the server of our website and temporarily stored in so-called log files.

This includes in particular:

4. Online Applications (Career Section)

We use the applicant management software Personio to process applications.

The provider is Personio SE & Co. KG, Seidlstraße 3, 80335 Munich, Germany.

If you apply via our website, the personal data you provide (e.g. contact details, application documents, qualifications) will be processed and stored by Personio on our behalf. Personio acts as a data processor within the meaning of Art. 28 GDPR. A corresponding data processing agreement has been concluded.

Purpose and legal basis:
The processing of your applicant data is carried out for the purpose of conducting the application process and deciding on the establishment of an employment relationship. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR in conjunction with § 26 para. 1 BDSG.

Recipients of the data:
Only persons within our company who are responsible for the application process have access to your data. Data will not be passed on to third parties unless there is a legal obligation.

Retention period:
If no employment relationship is established, your application data will be deleted or anonymized after completion of the application process, unless longer storage is required to defend against possible legal claims (e.g. under the German General Equal Treatment Act). In this case, storage is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.

Data security:
Personio uses technical and organizational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse, and unauthorized access. Data transmission is encrypted (TLS).

Our website is hosted and operated by NewIT Solutions (Pollinger Str. 18, 82205 Gilching, Germany).

The servers are located at Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany.

a) Legal basis under § 23 TDDDG

8. Integrated Content and Services

Google Fonts: We use only locally hosted Google Fonts. No data is transferred to Google servers.

Social media links: Our website contains links to our social media profiles (LinkedIn). When accessing these links, no data is transmitted from our website to the providers. Only when you visit the respective platform do their data protection policies apply.

Web analytics with Umami: We use the web analytics tool Umami to analyze the usage of our website and improve our services. Umami is a privacy-friendly analytics tool that operates without cookies and does not create personal user profiles. Data processing is carried out exclusively on our own servers (self-hosted). No data is shared with third parties or transferred to third countries.

Processed data may include in particular:

  • Visited pages (URL)
  • Referrer (previously visited page)
  • Browser and operating system used
  • Device type (desktop, mobile)
  • Approximate location data (e.g. country)
  • Date and time of access
  • IP addresses are not stored in full but are shortened or anonymized so that no personal reference can be established.
